About Me

My photo
Douglas Kennedy
Welcome to my little indulgences for 2013, On Centre Stage and Michael Kennedy Tells Tales, which are having a slight change of format. On Centre Stage (OCS) will feature postings on theatre, performance, cabaret, film and the occasional visual arts, while Michael Burns Kennedy Tells Tales is for stories and flights of fancy. Sir Haulway Barrack-Jones, who is also known as The Universal Thespian, will now be read on Michael Burns Kennedy Tells Tales. The old fellow is rooming with us while he writes his definitive memoir Me and Other Popular Theatricals. Therefore we have taken the precaution of locking up both our wine cellar and daughters of an impressionable age (wines over, and women under, 80). Despite some deficits in his personality, virtue and manners, Barrack-Jones has been wandering through theatre-land for more than a 1000 years. He has met the famous, and not so famous, and is prepared to comment freely on them. On Centre Stage -oncentrestage.blogspot.com.au Michael Burns Kennedy Tells Tales -makingwhoppeee.blog.com.au
